Children are given Onditron 2 mg/5 ml syrup as a medication to help with nausea and vomiting. It is mostly used to alleviate nausea and vomiting brought on by radiotherapy, chemotherapy, surgery, and intestinal/stomach infections. Additionally, it aids in the treatment of vomiting brought on by prescription side effects, such as painkillers. You can take Onditron 2 mg/5 ml syrup with or without food. 30 minutes prior to the surgery, give your child this medication to help manage vomiting brought on by chemotherapy. Give it one hour before surgery and one to two hours before a radiotherapy session to keep your child from throwing up after these treatments. Assist your child in settling down and give them the medication again if they throw it up within thirty minutes of taking it. Never double up.
